What is the appeals process?

If ThEE is outside of a plan rule timeframe, explain the Maximus rules.  Remind the EE of communications they received that state the plan rules.  They are not eligible at this time to make this change under Maximus.  Advise they are able to make updates if there is another Qualified Life Event or at Annual Enrollment for the next plan year. 

• If the EE is not receptive to the response and understanding they are outside of the plan rules, offer to do additional internal review.  Take a call back number and advised you will reach out to them.  Send case on to CSR Lead who will partner with BSA/CSM.
