What is a metaphor?
Epigrams are short, witty, and often satirical poems that usually take the form of a couplet or quatrain (2-4 lines in length).

What is an epitaph?
This type of poem is a poem made of seven lines of words that are arranged in a special diamond-like form. This type of poem does not contain rhyming words but does have specific rules for nouns, adjectives, and verbs in specific lines.

What is Sonnet
This literary technique gives humanlike characteristics to non-human things.
It contains three stanzas with the rhyme scheme of “ABABBCBC” followed by “BCBC. It is a poem or song narrating a story in short stanzas. Traditional ones are typically of unknown authorship, having been passed on orally from one generation to the next as part of the folk culture.
What is a ballad?
It contains two-line stanzas with the “AA” rhyme scheme, which often appears as “AA BB CC and DD…”
What is a couplet?
Well, son, I’ll tell you:
