What is a sonnet?

A popular form of poetry that repeats the first and third lines of the poem as the last line of each stanza alternating.
The stanzas all have three lines except for the last stanza which has four lines, the last two being the repeated first and third lines of the poem.
What is a villanelle?
Repeated vowel sounds in close proximity.

There is a radif or refrain where the last word or phrase of the first couplet is repeated at the end of all the couplets.
Traditionally, the poet puts their name in the last couplet.
