Friday & Saturday Midnight-9am
One of these policies are in effect 24/7 in the Res Halls.
Quiet Hours and Courtesy Hours
Only multiple outlet strips with circuit breakers are allowed in the halls, normal household ones are not allowed
Extension Cords
Possession of any empty item of this nature is not permitted within the residence halls. Items that have been re purposed or designed solely for decorative use may be allowed at the discretion of the hall or complex director.
Empty Alcohol Containers
These are not to be removed. Removal or damage to this item is subject to a minimum $25 fine in addition to the costs associated with rectifying the problem. Anyone entering or exiting a building through this access or found throwing an article out of this access is subject to a minimum $50 fine.
Windows & Window Screens
Due to the potential for personal injury and property damage, these are not allowed in the Res Halls
Darts and Dartboards
For safety reasons, students are not allowed to do this inside or in close proximity to the residence halls or apartments. Residents should seek an open space away from the building for such activities.

Toasters (Red heating coil item)

In an effort to protect the health, safety, and well-being of all students, the University will not impose sanctions that are punitive in nature against those students who seek emergency medical attention for themselves or someone else related to the consumption of this item.
Alcohol Amnesty
These items that belong to the University are not allowed in resident rooms.
Use of University Property (couches, lounge chairs, hall decorations etc)
Liquids that can cause flames, explosions etc.
Hazardous/Explosive Materials
These items, that our staff work so hard on every year to create can not be found in a residents room.
This also includes: removing, tampering, damaging, or taking any of these items
Signs, Pictures, Posters
Item 1 must be 700 watts or less and plugged into a power strip with a circuit breaker
Item 2 must not exceed 5 cubic feet with 2.5 amperage
Microwaves/Refrigerators
Use, possession, manufacturing, knowingly in the presence of or distribution of these items except as expressly permitted by law are not allowed in the halls or on campus.
Controlled Substances
There are many different types of these in our facilities:
Apartment & Suite Style: Private
Traditional: Community Style (Gender Designated)
Pod Style: Semi Private (Gender designated)
Public: Located on many of the floors for anyone to use
Restroom Policy
Space Heaters
These individuals must be with a member of the floor at all times.
They can't stay for more than 5 nights in a 30 day period.
These individuals must be approved by the roommate.
Each hall allows this for 24 hours/7 days a week
Guest Policy (Escort & Visitors)
This isn't allowed on campus at all, and must be done off campus.
We do allow water vapor inhalants outside of the Res Halls, but do not permit them in the Halls.
Smoking Policy
Destroying, altering, or messing with any of this equipment could result in a $200.00 fine.
These are not allowed in the walls of the Res Halls to hang things, you must use the suggested methods to hang an item.
Decorations and Wall Care (No nails, no painting of walls etc.)
Due to structural stress imposed on the building and because of the great variety in quality, these items are not allowed in the res halls
Waterbeds
None of these are allowed in the halls except for fish unless approved by the Accommodations office, and have gone through all proper documentation majors.
Pets, Service Animals, ESA
These items can't be stored or used in the Res Halls or on campus, but can be stored at University Police.
Weapons
Consumption, possession, manufacturing, or distribution of these items are not allowed on campus or in the Res Halls.
Alcohol
You must remove these items yourself, they are not allowed to sit in the hallways until someone picks it up, or allowed in the community collection space. Each hall will have signs giving direction on where these collection items are located.
