• RA will call AOC for all incidents involving animals
• AOC will check the list to determine if the animal is an ESA. AOC does not share this information with RA. 
• If not an ESA, RA & AOC go to the room, knock, and introduce themselves.
•  AOC explains pet policy and gives the resident 24 hours to remove the pet from the building. 
• RA & AOC explain the documentation process.
• RA writes and submits report

• RAs knock. (Call other RA on duty) Take note of what you hear and how long it takes while you wait for the door to open. 
•  Ask the person answering the door if he or she lives in the room. If not ask to speak with one of the residents of the room; Do not let the door close. 
• Let the resident(s) know that you heard a lot of noise coming from the room and you will be doing an inspection. 
  • If you enter the room and then find underage drinking to be taking place, call the AOC immediately and let them know which room you are in, and then follow the next step
