What times should I sit the desk if I am on duty on Saturday?

7pm-10pm!

On Friday and Saturday, the time you sit the desk will be different than the rest of the week.

100

You get a call about room 999 being too loud and it's past quiet hours. What do you do?

1) You go up to the room and knock on the door.

2) You ask residents to quiet down.

3) You verify in your next set of rounds to make sure the room is respecting quiet hours.

100

Besides closing, when should you use a Master Swipe to open a room?

When doing a lockout and once you have verified the resident actually lives there.

100

You see a student using the phone behind the front desk to make prank calls. What do you do?

Ask them to stop, get their name & ID, and write an incident report.

100

When is your KCE weekly due?

Mondays at 9am - but you can turn it in earlier.

200

What days do I do 2am rounds?

Thursday, Friday, and Saturday!

On Thursdays, you will do 9, 12 & 2. On Fridays & Saturdays, you'll do 10, 12 & 2.

200

You notice a room is being loud on your rounds. You knock on the door to ask them to quiet down. When you knock, you hear clinking, "shhh it's the RA", and "go hide". A student opens the door and smells like alcohol. What do you do?

1. Introduce yourself and explain what you hear and smell.

2. Ask politely to be let into the room since there is suspicion of alcohol. (If they refuse, call HD on duty for guidance).

3. Take pictures of the IDs of everyone in the room (including the people who are hiding).

4. Find and take pictures of all the alcohol and ask residents to dump all of it in the sink. (As you look for the alcohol, do not open anything yourself - ask THEM to open it for you)

5. Put the empty bottles in the trash bag and have the resident take it to the trash room.

6. Write an incident report.

200

If a resident tells you they have a maintenance concern, what should you do?

Remind them to fill out the QR code, because KJ and I are the only ones able to input them. (Exception for emergencies - at that point call HD on Duty)

200

A student is physically ill in the lobby bathroom. You are unsure if they are intoxicated or ate bad chicken. What do you do?

Check if they are okay. Try to understand if they are in need of medical attention (pro-tip: Ask with a neutral tone to ensure that you are not leading them to say no). Call the HD on duty to report bodily fluids in a public space. Alert the HD if you believe the student is intoxicated. Take a picture of their student IDs.
