Vocabulary
Any base raised to the power of zero is equal to one.
Zero Power rule
Multiply powers together when raising a power by another exponent, (a^m)^n = a^mn
Power of a Power
When dividing two bases of the same value, you subtract the exponent values.
Example:
5^5 รท 5^3 = 5^2
Quotient of Powers
Write an example of a polynomial with 4 terms and degree of 3.

When any base is being multiplied by an exponent, you distribute the exponent to each part of the base.
(๐^2๐ฆ^2)^3 = x^6y^6
Power of a product
Add powers together when multiplying like bases, a^m ร a^n = a^m+n
Product of Powers
