No! Rec staff has a schedule to adhere to. This is why it is important to listen to staff's promptings when getting prepared to transition to the pool.

Goggles are allowed but NO sharing between youth.
Youth must get flippers or extra swim equipment approved by PMs.
How do you jump into the pool appropriately?
You must ask the lifeguard on duty if and when it is safe to jump.
How many laps around the pool do you have to swim?
1 lap: down and back the length of the pool
-you cannot let your feet touch the bottom or stop unless you are on the wall
