Any tripping hazards, bar glasses, trash, if you're not sure if it's left behind from a mechanic or not talk to the mech, kids behind games, etc

When is a lane good to sell? 

Once the prior guest has left, the lane is turned off, lane assist has cleaned up any spills or food left at the table, the bowling balls are put back, and the seating area has been sanitized.

How is ringing up games of bowling different from ringing up timed bowling or spark?

Selling by the game goes directly to the lane and activates it so it won't stop until the games purchased are complete.

Selling by time or spark, you have to turn on the lane before adding the packages on there with the pricing and shoes. Timed bowling ends at the end of its scheduled time, doesn't matter the frame or game.

Spark is similar to timed bowling but instead of adding the pricing by person, it's by the lane with the shoes additional.

A customer approaches the game counter and informs you that they swiped twice on a game, but it didn't work, what do you do?

1 Swipe the card and check their transaction history

2 Call to have an am associate take a look at the game

3 If nothing is wrong with the game, do further investigation before calling a manager, if there was an issue with the game call a manager over to the am counter for a credit comp

How far are lane assists allowed to fix unstuck balls? If it is beyond what you can fix, what do you do?

Lane assists without Pinchaser training can get balls that are stuck on the gutter on the lane. 

If it is beyond what you can fix, call a mechanic and let them know you are standing in front of the lane for them. Of course, inform the guests that they cannot throw any bowling balls at this time, if they were using timed bowling, we will pause their time.

What is our rental policy for our guests?

Have to be 18 years of age with a valid I.D. to rent, guests will be held liable for any damaged or lost rental equipment during their rental (they will not get their I.D. back until it is paid for), they can only use the rentals for the amount of time they paid for, if they stay drastically over their time they will be charged for the remaining amount of time. ALSO no alcohol in the KA rooms.

What causes a Frontward or Sideward error on a Gemini usually? How do you fix it?

It usually revolves around the check points that the crane communicates with to know where to stop. This could be the check point being too far back and the claw getting caught on the display or it could be that the check point is slanted and won't properly hit the check point thus erroring out the claw. 

This can be fixed easily by straightening the check point so it is level with the communication piece of the claw, or it can be brought forward to prevent it from hitting the display.

On the crane floor, what is the difference between service and test? When do we use it?

Test is for trialing the settings you have adjusted while it is on test mode.

Service is for testing the crane's payout as if there were a customer playing it, how many tries it may take also with possible bonus power in play.

A guest bought the two-game package for bowling and does not want to bowl the second game, they are requesting a refund. What do you inform them?

Unfortunately, we cannot give a refund on the second game since it is a discounted product, and we don't keep their card on file for how much they bowl like other bowling places. It doesn't hurt to call a manager over if they seem disappointed or they aren't taking the info very well.

This can be prevented by informing the guest upon purchase that it won't be refunded.

If it is an emergency situation, like they have to leave or if they are really polite and understanding a MANAGER might give them a bowling voucher so they can come back another day to bowl another game.

How do ring up people up at redemption?

First, scan their card and inform them how many tickets they have. Then begin to scan the items onto their card, let them know if they run out of tickets before finishing their transaction and if they would like to swap any items they can afford. If you cannot find the item use price check. Repeat for other customers.

What is VR1 and VR2, and how do we set up Gemini's? (IN DEPTH)

VR1 is the claw GRAB, VR2 is how the claw CARRIES it to the prize chute. First, a display is made for the plush. We adjust the VR1 and VR2 settings to the plush in the crane and continue to practice it in test until we feel it is ready to be tested in service mode. The plush should take about 9 tries to win.

How long would you estimate their time for waiting? What lane would you assign to them on your waitlist once ready?

Lane 3 has the shortest amount of time remaining of approximately 12 minutes. We would inform the guest their wait will be about 15 to 20 minutes so we can ensure the lane will be good to sell before contacting them.
