Name 3 Minor behaviour that are to be teacher managed?
·Late to class
·Not upholding school values or classroom rules (such as chewing gum,. littering,, uniform infringements)
·Low engagement in work or refusal to engage
·Leaving classroom without permission
·Distracting others
·Incorrect, or lack of equipment
·Defiant and or disrespectful behaviour
·Inappropriate verbal language
·Inappropriate physical contact
·Inappropriate technological use and/or refusal to hand over device/s.
·Interfering with another person or property
·Not working hard in class
When entering a classroom at Flinders what do teachers need to do?
Teacher will welcome students into the learning space.
Teacher to check students have correct uniform and materials or a uniform/ materials pass
Teacher to mark the roll at the start of each lesson
Consequences: Students with incorrect uniform and materials who have not organised a pass will receive a consequence.
When can you take a detention away and when can't you?
For minor behaviour breeches a teacher can give an remove a detention. For callout's a detention can't be removed and will be set by leadership
When can you give a detention in the 5 R system?
Consequences may be given at any level in the continuum at teacher discretion
What are 3 major bahaviours?

·Refusal to comply with clear and reasonable instruction including following the Behaviour Response Continuum
· Risk taking behaviour that endangers self or others (perceived or actual)

When exiting a classroom what do teacher need to do?
.Teacher not to exit students before the bell
•Put furniture back the way it should be
•Ensure the white board is clean unless you know it will benefit the next teacher
•Log off VIVI
•Remove resources from the teacher desk unless required for future use
•Last class of the day for that room turn off aircon, screens and lights
•The room should be visually clean and neat ready for the next teacher
In the escalation process what is the before tier 1?
SWC Student focus week is before tier 1
Any student identified during Student Focus Week as experiencing significant concerns E.G:
•Non-attendance e.g. 1 day per week or more, late daily/weekly
•Wellbeing issues considered
•Academic below standard - D grade or 55%)
•Detentions more than 1 a fortnight
•Callouts more than 1 per term
Students issued a suspension automatically progress to Tier 1
