We get to be together as the body of Christ for 15+ hours?
What is an unintended bonus outcome of VBS?
Go to their classrooms in the children's ministry hallway (at 8:55 you can bring your class to the auditorium)
What happens if students arrive between 8:45 - 8:55?
You can complete another classroom activity or watch the videos that go along with the teaching (on a shared flash drive)
What do we do during snack time after the kids have finished eating?
provide direction to the youth helpers, make sure all children are supervised, make sure he/she is never alone with a child, assist the lead teacher with implementing activities, assist students with completing activities, make personal connections with the children, serve as time keeper to keep the schedule moving, act as a role model and enthusiastic participant
What are the responsibilities of the adult helpers?
Monday, Friday, and Sunday(s)?

A safe haven in the Middletown / Hummelstown area
What opportunity can we offer the community?
Large Group Opening in the auditorium where we will participate in a challenge, sing, and hear teaching

connect with the parents when they drop-off/pick-up, provide crowd control for the class, lead classroom activities and discussions, make connections with kids

What is the purpose for our own LHC kids?
Fun and competitive games led by Cameron; teachers are expected to participate unless you have a medical excuse :)
What are the challenges?
If you are not in a classroom, just pick up your kids and feel free to leave after Closing.
If you are in a classroom, pick your kids up from the Family Room where they will be with Jenny.
If you have nursery kids, pick them up in the nursery.

What is the ultimate purpose of VBS?
Classes rotate to five 25-minute stations: music, games, crafts, snacks, small groups (see schedule for times and locations)
What happens after the Opening?
Monday - God wants you to know Him. (Abram)
Tuesday - You can know God through His word. (Josiah)
Wednesday - God sent Jesus to save us. (Jesus's baptism)
Thursday - God sent His Spirit to help you. (Pentecost)
Friday - You can help others know God. (Fruit of the Spirit)
