If Jehovah provides for them, how much more so would he provide for each one of us?
SYMPOSIUM Why we have faith in… ”Gods Word” In this segment of the Syposium what were 2 suggestions mentioned to strengthen our conviction in Gods word?
1. Build study projects that build our faith.
2. If we have doubts write them down and do research on jw library, wol library and or study Bible.
SYMPOSIUM: Use Creation To Build Your Faith…“Stars” - According to Ndugu Ken Flodine‘s talk, there are 2 trillions galaxies, each containing billions of starts yet not one of the are missing and all are named. However, even though that’s the case, Jehovah doesn’t have the desire to resurrect what stars that has died. What was the significance of this?
Unlike the starts that have died, Jehovah has the desire to remember our dead loved ones in the San Diego swahili congregation by name, and resurrect them.
Why we have faith in… ”Gods Love” In this segment of the Symposium, what scripture was used to demonstrate Jehovah’s love for you as an individual?
John 6:44 “No man can come to me unless the Father, who sent me, draws him…”
Jehovah gently drew you to him and he continues to draw you by gently tugging at your heart and by supplying you with his hold spirit to help you understand and apply divine truths.
SYMPOSIUM: Use Creation To Build Your Faith…“Forest”- According to the video in Ndugu James Mance talk, what was the evidence that prove Jehovah created the earth in a way to go on for all eternity?
The forest was created with its own rejuvenating systems. Fungi, Beatles, earth warms and other insects all play a part in breaking down dead plant tissue like dead trees for example. As they break down these tissue they recycle organic materials and there by supporting new life. Through this system Jehovah made it possible for you and I to enjoy life from generation after generation.
What have faith in … ”God’s Existence” In the video of this segment what were the 3 earths systems that the video talked about, that keeps our earth clean?
1. The water cycle
2. The Carbon & oxygen cycle
3. The Nitrogen cycle
According to the notes take from the “Keep Testing Whether you Are In The Faith”- How? Talk, what were 3 ways our faith could be likened to a car?
1. Our faith is likened to an engine which correspond to our Godly Devotion. Just as engine oil needs to be check every thousands of miles so does our deed of godly devotion because Jehovah and Jesus are not only interested in how we serve him but why we serve the, our motive. - 1 Corinthians 13:3
2. The brakes is our fear of Jehovah. Our fear of Jehovah is what will help us to reject unwholesome thought that lead to actions. Provers 8:13 isa formula for us it states “the fear of Jehovah means hating what is bad.”
3. The horn, when used correctly can save lives. 1 Timothy 4:16 say “pay constant attention to yourself and to your teaching …for by doing this you will save both yourself and those who listen to you.” So if our horn don’t work or ain’t loud enough we need to fix it.
According to “CHARMAN’S ADDRES: How Powerful is Faith?” What were the 6 things Faith enable us to do?
1. Walk with the true God.
2. Faith Moves us to obey Gods commands with out hesitation.
3. Faith empowers us to preach the good news of the kingdom despite opposition.
4. Faith help us to act in ways that brings blessings to us.
5. Faith helps us to win our struggle against super human forces.
6. Moves us to trust the our prayers to Jehovah are heard and he will answer the if the are in harmony with his will.
SYMPOSIUM: Use Creation To Build Your Faith…“Wind & water” - Did you know, hail storms are formed in warm weather when turbulent air pulls dust particles towards the sky. Each trip up into the sky packs a layer of ice until it becomes a hail stone heavy enough to fall. One report in an awake magazine stated “at times people were hurt or even killed by hailstones weighing 1 & 1/2 Lbs” & were scientifically proven to be as big or bigger than a based ball. According to the video in Ndugu Lynn Myers talk, what 2 events did Jehovah use hailstones to defend his people and what scripture proves he will do they same for our day?
1. During the 7th plegue against the Egyptians
2. When Joshua fought the Amorites, in face more died from hail stones than from battle.
Job 38:22,23 show that Jehovah will use hail stones will defend us during the battler of Armageddon for it say “ Have you seen the storehouses of the hail, which I have reserved for the…day of battle and war”
