Walk through renaming a Slide Layout
On the View tab, click Slide Master.
In the left pane that contains the slide master and layout thumbnails, right-click the layout thumbnail that you want to rename, and then click Rename Layout.
In the Rename Layout box, type the new name of the layout, and then click Rename.

How do you format the background of notes pages?
1 View - Master Views Group and click on Notes Master
2 In the background group - click background styles and then click preset background you want to use.

2. In the Format Background pane, configure a solid, gradient, textured, patterned, or picture background just as you would do on a slide.
How do you format the background pane?
Click Design - In Customize Group click Format Background

Click Insert - Click Link down arrow - Select place in document - click the slide you want to link and click OK

How do you create a custom slideshow?
On the Slide Show tab, in the Start Slide Show group, click the Custom Slide Show button, and then click Custom Shows. Click New
Define Custom Shows - Slide show name- enter Name
In slides in presentation list select the boxes of the slides you want to include and click Add
Select and slide you want to reorder
In the Define Custom Show dialog box, click OK.
In the Custom Shows dialog box, click Close to return to the presentation or click Show to run the custom slide show.
Create Presentation Sections
Do either of the following:
In Normal view, click in the Slides pane above the first slide of the new section.
In Slide Sorter view, click in the Slides pane to the left of the first slide of the new section.
Do either of the following:
On the Home tab, in the Slides group, click the Section button, and then click Add Section.
In Normal view, right-click in the Slides pane above the slide where you want to begin a new section, and then click Add Section.
Create a Summary Zoom Slide
On the Insert tab, in the Links group, click Zoom and then click Summary Zoom.
In the Insert Summary Zoom window, look in the area to the left of the Insert button to determine whether any slides are already selected.
If slides are already selected, review the selections and clear any that you don’t want to include in the Summary Zoom slide.
Select the check box of the first slide of each section that you want to include on the Summary Zoom slide.
If you want to remove unused sections from your presentation, clear the Keep unused sections in your presentation check box.
Click Insert to create a Summary Zoom section and the Summary Zoom slide immediately before the first section included on the slide.

To save your changes, click Apply to All.

How to set a password for a presentation?
1 Backstage view - Infor page - click Protect Presentation and then click Encrypt with Password.
2 In the Encrypt Document and Confirm Password dialog boxes enter the password and click OK.

Right-click a slide or selected slides and click Hide Slide

Select the image - Click on Picture Format - Click Alt Text - Enter description in text box
Mark a presentation as final
>Info > Protect (Document, Presentation, or Workbook) > Mark as Final.
