Tier 2: Why does my spouse need to be involved?

In the past, we’ve had a lot of experience meeting with just one homeowner. We've come out and met with just one spouse... guaranteed a price in writing... they call us a back a year later... and we actually come out to do the installation and the spouse that previously wasn't there is now saying... ‘I want the installation done this way, with these materials and this style’... it can get pretty dicey... So as a business, just to avoid
discrepancies, we would like both of you there for the estimate.

I might be selling the house

If you decide to sell the home as-is, by all means that’s your choice. But it could be worthwhile to explore what it would cost to replace the (W/R/S) before putting the house on the market… Because doing so would boost curb appeal, re-sell value, and likely help the house sell quicker. Either way, having a price for the (W/R/S) on-hand will be a helpful variable to have in mind when deciding whether to sell the house as-is or fix it up a bit before putting it on the market.
