What is the bare minimum to pass a presentation?
Well-created references (in-text & bibliographic)
6 - How much can we read our notes/slides? How much text can we write on the slides?
7- How do we move through the presentation sections?
6- Notes - bulletpoints to feed the next idea.
6 -Slides - 10-15 words max., pictures, animation, etc.
7- By using signposting language - transition words to get from one section to another
How do we make ourselves well perceived by the audience?
Adequate body language (hands, eye contact), voice projection (intelligible speech) and dress code (no t-shirts or tracksuits, please)
How do we make our audience interested in our say?
By using HOOKS at least at the beginning if not throughout the whole presentation
By working together in sync
How do we avoid the death of our audience by PowerPoint?
Through interaction (a game, kahoot, quiz, etc.)
