A sacred ordinance where we are immersed in water to show we are choosing to follow Jesus Christ. It washes away our sins.
What is baptism?
The Son of God, our Savior and Redeemer. He shows us how to live, died for our sins, and was resurrected so that everyone can be forgiven and return to Heavenly Father. Believing in Him is the foundation of our faith.
Who is Jesus Christ?
How we can talk with Heavenly Father to say sorry for mistakes, ask for forgiveness, and ask for help to do better.
What is prayer?
A special promise, agreement, or relationship, between God and people, where both parties make commitments.
What is a covenant?
In this weekly prayer, are reminded that if we follow God we will always have his Spirit to be with us.
What is the sacrament?
Believing in Jesus Christ and trusting Him even when we can’t see everything. It means acting with hope and confidence that God will help us as we follow Him.
What is faith?
Faith is often measured by this in the scriptures. And if is planted, it will grow.
What is a seed?
Choosing to let go of anger or hurt toward someone who has wronged you. God does this when we sincerely repent.
What is forgiveness?
He was baptized in the River Jordan, by John the Baptist.
Who is Jesus Christ?
As a young man, he followed the promptings of the Holy Ghost by going into the woods to pray , to ask God which church he should join?
Who is Joseph Smith?
A special blessing we receive after baptism when hands are placed on our head. It means we can always have someone with us to comfort, guide, warn, and help us choose the right

Telling someone you are sorry for something you did wrong and showing that you want to make it right.
What is an apology?
The weekly reminder of our baptismal covenant.
What is the sacrament?
The gentle way the Holy Ghost speaks to us. It’s usually quiet feelings, thoughts, or impressions in our hearts and minds that help us know what is true and guide us to do good.
What is the still, small voice?
Turning away from sin and turning back to God. It means feeling sorry for wrong choices, asking for forgiveness, trying to make things right, and choosing to follow Jesus Christ better each day.
What is repentance?
Knowing and feeling in your heart that Jesus Christ is real, that His Church is true, and that living the gospel brings happiness. It is what we believe and share with others through the Spirit.
What is a testimony?
In the Book of Mormon, this young man had to repent for seeking to destroy the church of Jesus Christ. He was filled with the Spirit and became a powerful prophet (hint: His dad was a prophet and had the same name).
Who is Alma (the younger)?
The power and authority of God to perform saving ordinances, such as baptism and confirmation.
What is the priesthood?
A special ordinance after baptism where we receive the gift of the Holy Ghost by the laying on of hands. We become members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
