  • Falling/Tripping - rugs on pulled flat, tripping over toys, own feet
  • Placing cots out prior to meals being cleaned (licensing) is a tripping hazard
  • Sweeping/cleaning up water spill immediately. Picking up scraps of paper/paper towels.
  • Burns – slides/equipment too hot from the sun
  • Poisoning – sanitizers, air fresheners (important that all items in cupboard when not in teachers hands)
  • Suffocation – blankets/cords to long/string longer than 6 inches
  • Falling out of equipment – infants- highchairs, swings on Tod/Ep playground
  • Choking (food or toy)
  • Food Allergies/Special Diets (review allergy prevention)
