What is Libel?
when someone besides the copyright owner can use a portion of a copyrighted work without permission
What is fair use?
a set of federal laws in the U.S. Constitution granting authors and artists the exclusive right to benefit from their creations

"established that student speech is protected from censorship except for Speech that invades the rights of others (unprotected speech) and Speech that creates a material and substantial disruption of normal school activities"
What is Tinker v. Des Moines?
how much trust the public/your readers have in your publication to provide accurate information, told objectively, to allow the consumer to make up their mind

provides protection to student journalists in 18 states, essentially rolling back student press freedoms in that state to the Tinker standard
