Block Grants: Envelope of money to every division. approx 60% of schools budget
Categorical Grants: outside of regular budget, applied at school level every year for students with special needs. Level 1,2,3 (Spectrum)
Capital Funding: provided for larger projects. Divisison makes a wish list every year for new schools, desks, repairs, etc.
