Be at a Level 0.
What should you do if you see another student using the snow or ice inappropriately?
Tell the duty right away.
How many pages of cursive should you finish per day?
1 page front and back.
How many tabs or windows should you have open on your screen if you are working?
Only the one you are using. DO NOT play music on one tab while working on another.
If you are working and don't understand a question, what should you do?
Raise your hand and wait quietly, or use the 3 Before Me Rule
What should you do when a visitor enters the classroom?
Continue working or doing whatever lesson or activity we are doing at the time.
Where do snow and ice stay?
On the ground. We do not pick up or throw snow in any way. We do not throw it in the air or at buildings or toys.
What should you do if you are late or tardy to school?
Be sneaky, like a ninja! Come in at a Level 0, hang coat & backpack. See what others are doing in class, and get straight to work.
What are your chromebooks for?
Schoolwork only!

What is the 3 Before Me Rule? How will you know when to use this?
Know when to use when the "slug light" is on. 1. Reread instructions or look around the room for posters or help. 2. Ask a neighbor quietly. 3. Ask another neighbor quietly. THEN grab a clip from the waiting room. Work until your number is called.
If a classroom visitor asks you why you are doing what you are doing, what should you say?
Explain to them what you are working on. This is your moment to SHINE and show them your amazing skills!
What should you do with a mound or hill of snow?
Leave it alone. We do not play on snow hills of any size.
If you have a problem with another student, what should you do?
Try Kelsos choices. If those don't work, ask for an adult (teacher, duty, etc.) to help. If the problem is physical (i.e. hitting, kicking, etc.) get an adult's help immediately! Don't wait until the end of recess!
How many minutes AND lessons passed should you have for I Ready Math each week?
40 minutes and 2 lessons passed.
What should you do when the fire alarm goes off?
Be at a 0, walk to line up in number order. Follow teacher outside to Blue #5. Face away from school. Stay at a 0 the entire time, in case special instructions or announcements are made.
How should you answer if Mrs. Ladd asks you to pick up the classroom telephone?
"Hello/Hi, Mrs. Ladd's room"
If you build something with snow and leave the area, what might happen?
It might get moved around or played with. Remember... no one owns the snow. If you build something out of snow and leave that area or the bell rings, others can play with that snow.
How should you answer another adult if they ask you to do something (i.e. walk, be at a level 0, etc.)?
Yes and follow through!
If you violate our 5th Grade Technology Agreement, what is the first offense consequence?
The student will lose computer privileges for one week, and the parents will be notified of the broken rule(s).
What are your options if you finish your work early?
Work on missing or unfinished work, IReady or IReady Games if you are done with 40 minutes/2 lessons passed, read silently, work on coordinate graphs, etc.
