What is the 3 Before Me Rule? How will you know when to use this?

Know when to use when the "slug light" is on. 1. Reread instructions or look around the room for posters or help. 2. Ask a neighbor quietly. 3. Ask another neighbor quietly. THEN grab a clip from the waiting room. Work until your number is called.

If a classroom visitor asks you why you are doing what you are doing, what should you say?

Explain to them what you are working on. This is your moment to SHINE and show them your amazing skills!

Leave it alone. We do not play on snow hills of any size.

Try Kelsos choices. If those don't work, ask for an adult (teacher, duty, etc.) to help. If the problem is physical (i.e. hitting, kicking, etc.) get an adult's help immediately! Don't wait until the end of recess!

Be at a 0, walk to line up in number order. Follow teacher outside to Blue #5. Face away from school. Stay at a 0 the entire time, in case special instructions or announcements are made.

If you build something with snow and leave the area, what might happen?

It might get moved around or played with. Remember... no one owns the snow. If you build something out of snow and leave that area or the bell rings, others can play with that snow.

Work on missing or unfinished work, IReady or IReady Games if you are done with 40 minutes/2 lessons passed, read silently, work on coordinate graphs, etc.
