What do you do when you want to talk in class?
By raising you hand quietly until you are picked. Then, once you are picked you may stand up next to your seat or stay seated.
What do you do when you get in class?
You hang up backpack on your chair, get out your homework and get our your agenda and follow your routine.
What do you when you walk to the down the hall, to recess, or to lunch?
You walk in a quietly and straight line. No running.
When you come to school late like after 9:30, what do you do?
You need to go to the office to get a late slip.
How do you get your group to work together?
By taking turns talking and sharing.
What do you do to help some one else be better student?
You encourage others by saying positive things. No put downs!
How do you ask for help in class?
You ask you partner and group. If you still can't get the answer raise your hand quietly and wait.
Your eyes are on me, and you are focused on the directions.
Where should 4th grade students play during recess?
The need to play only in the intermediate play area.
How do students respect other students properties?
By not touching them or destroying them. Ask to use first before taking anything.
When can I use the bathroom?
Before school, during recess, lunch, and during our bathroom breaks. But you can also take the pass and sign out if you really need to go.
What happens to you if you go up the slide or do something you are not supposed to do at recess.
You will have to walk 5 laps and/or stand on the wall for 5 minutes.
How do you get to see Mr. Williams ?
You will be sent to it if you disrespect your teachers, others and are not following rules to think about what you have done wrong.
What kind of food can students have in class?
Water and snacks for snack time after recess for morning group or right after lunch during the read aloud.
When can I sharpen my pencil?
When the teacher isn't speaking.
What do you do when I call you to line up?
You will walk quietly to you line and line up in ABC order.
How do students get a referral slip?
By fighting, harassing others, threatening others, and disobeying the teacher.
How can you respect others?
By listening to them, taking turns sharing, and using appropriate language and gestures.
How do students line up?
In number order.
How should you behave in the hallway to the cafeteria?

If you don't know what to do after directions are said what do you do?
You should be quietly because we are in the hallway and those are our expectations.
Ask a buddy after Mrs. Vaclavik is done speaking or you will loose a DOJO point for asking her to repeat the directions!
