2-3 overlaps. A mentor should reach out to the Training Department to approve a third overlap.
True/False: The trainee may not see new-hire codes during Orientation. These can sometimes be delayed for 24 hours.
True-there can be a 24 hour delay in seeing new hire codes. If this occurs, have the trainee check back the next day before emailing to Ronni Irving and cc Training Department.

Who should check that the trainee is billing Litmos or CR meetings?
It is a team effort. However, a mentor should review Central Reach after the first week to ensure there are Litmos appointments. If there is not, reach out directly to the trainee and provide them with the New Hire Codes document. If the trainee has not added these appointments or converted after the second reminder, please reach out to the Training Department.
Can a mentor combine CR Meeting 2 & 3?
Yes! If you'd prefer to have a combined meeting you can. Each meeting is about 1.5-2 hours. If you combined, that meeting would be about 3-4 hours.

True/False: During in-person overlaps, the trainee should complete the RBT competency at 100% competence and fluency. It should be hard to tell the difference between a mentor and trainee.
False: The trainees will continue to require guidance from their mentors/BCBAs. However, they should have an understanding of the topics and be competent in the implementation.
If an appointment is unconverted from last week, can the trainee convert this appointment?
No. They can create the appointment but will need to reach out to their Regional Director using a Late Training Timesheet document.
If a trainee has questions about staffing, who should you direct them to?
Mentors should reach out to the Regional Directors of the trainee.
Mentors should discuss this with trainees early in the Training process.
True/False: Scheduling the first mentor meetings is flexible as long as it is completed before the end of week three.
False- the first mentor meeting should be completed by week one, unless the family or trainee has to cancel unexpectedly. Meeting two and three are flexible as long as they are completed by week three.
True/False: Taking notes during training or re-watching videos, is billable time.
False- taking notes and re-watching videos is considered discretionary time. It is not a requirement of the position. An RBT study guide will be provided. Appointments should include the exact time they were watching Litmos videos and completing quizzes. The RBT path should be approximately 46 hours, non-RBT path is approximately 36 hours, and Consolidated path is approximately 27 hours.
Is the Training Overlap code and Field Training code the same?
No. The Training Overlap code should only be used for overlaps requested by a BCBA to support with case transitions/starts. The Field Training code should only be used for center techs during their new-hire training.
If a BCBA requests an overlap for a field trainee, what code should be used?
