Communicate expectations of quality for a performance task or tasks, which will have multiple criteria for success.
What is descriptive language?
To analyze that language, extracting clues that describe two aspects of the standard that students need to know: essential knowledge and essential skills.

What is a proficiency scale, level 4?
The standards/levels by which to judge whether an objective/goal/ target/outcome has been achieved/successful.
The essential standards, instructional calendar (pacing guide), and daily instruction are all manageable and can be realistically taught to mastery levels in the instructional year.
What is a viable curriculum?
