A client with severe substance use challenges, who's collateral suggests they are likely to leave the program to use, must attend an appointment in SoMa in 1 hour. There are only 2 staff members on site and the organization has returned to pre-covid standards of not using uber to transport clients. Using the social rehab principle of "appropriate clinical challenges/risk taking to learn new skills," you give them a bus tolken and do, at least, these 3 things...

1. Create a relapse prevention plan

2. Let them know that staff will asess them for intoxication at the door

3. Do your best to assess whether they have brought any substances back to the program
