Born December 23, 1805, in Sharon, Vermont. He worked on the family farm in Vermont and later in western New York. In 1820 at Palmyra, New York. He saw God the Father and Jesus Christ in vision. Through revelation, he translated and published the Book of Mormon, organized The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on April 6, 1830, and received revelations to guide the Church.

This apostle was born in Redwood City, California. He served in the Asia Area Presidency, headquartered in Hong Kong, and concluded that service as the Area President. Loves Penguins!
Elder Gerrit W. Gong
This apostle was born on November 6, 1940. In 1944, toward the end of World War II, his family fled to Zwickau, Saxony, and there became members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In 1952, the family was forced to flee again, this time to Frankfurt, Hesse, where he completed his education in mechanical engineering. He was an airplane captain. He lOVES talking about planes.

He was born on August 6, 1955. He was a missionary and mission president in Japan, started a business manufacturing and selling exercise equipment called ICON Health & Fitness, Inc. and served as bishop over the whole Church.
Gary E. Stevenson
This apostle was born in Princeton, New Jersey. He served as president of the Church-owned Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho, now known as BYU Idaho. He played basketball in high school, and learned physics from his father on their family chalkboard. He is 92 years old! He is serving in the first presidency for the third? time.
Henry B. Eyring

Alma the Younger
This prophet was born on June 1, 1801 in Whitingham, Vermont. In 1835, three years after he joined the Church, he was called to the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles. He lead the migration west in 1846–47 to the Rocky Mountains and founded Salt Lake City. He was sustained as president of the Church on December 27, 1847.
Brigham Young
He was born on June 15, 1952, in Oakland, California. He served as a full-time missionary in Southern Germany and then attended Brigham Young University, where he received bachelor’s and master’s degrees. He also received a doctoral degree in organizational behavior from Purdue University. He was a quarterback on his high-school football team.
David A. Bednar
This apostle was born Sept. 8, 1940. He saw his future wife at a junior-high talent show. He served as a Church leader in the Philippines and Pacific Islands. He had previously served as president and chief executive officer of a California healthcare system. Prior to that, he was a business lawyer and managing partner of a San Francisco Bay Area law firm. (He wears glasses.)
Quentin L. Cook
While King Belshazzar was having a feast, the lord wrote on the wall of the wall of Babylon. This prophet was the only one to interpret the writing.

Jacob
Born on August 4, 1899, in Whitney, Idaho. He learned early the principle of hard work on the family farm. He served a mission to Great Britain and after his return, married Flora Amussen in 1926. He received his education in agriculture and went on to hold many important positions within the industry. He also emphasized the importance of the Book of Mormon in daily scripture study, missionary efforts and gospel teaching. Two of the Deacons share his name!
Ezra Taft Benson
He was called on February 11, 2026. He was the head Commissioner of Education in the church. He received a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University, and a doctorate from Harvard University. He worked as a professor of entrepreneurial management at Harvard University. He was later the chief executive officer of the Deseret News and Deseret Digital Media.
Clark G. Gilbert
He was born in Bordeaux, France, on May 20, 1963. He received a master’s degree in business from ESSEC in 1987. His career has been in strategy consulting and the food industry, where he has worked with several retail and food distribution companies. He was recently called on Nov. 6, 2025.
Gérald Caussé
This prophet prophesied during a time when the land of Israel had suffered from a great plague of locusts. The locusts were a foreshadow of the Great Day of the Lord.

The Brother of Jared
This prophet was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, on June 23, 1910. After graduating from the University of Utah, he was called to serve a mission to Great Britain. He served as a counselor to President Kimball, President Benson and President Hunter before becoming Church president on March 12, 1995. During his administration, he directed the most intense temple building program in the history of the Church.
Gordon B. Hinckley
Born in American Fork, Utah. He served a mission in Argentina. He worked as an attorney, then became a law clerk to Judge John J. Sirica during the Watergate trial. He practiced law in Washington, D.C. He participated in the Hill Cumorah Pageant as a teenager.
Elder D. Todd Christofferson
He was born in Carlisle, England, (speaks with a British accent) on July 18, 1961. He has lived and worked in the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, and the United States in a range of industries and ran his own communication consultancy. His civic and community involvement has included service on the boards of charities, a school, an enterprise agency, and a college.
