This site is the very first step of a VPOST onboarding (step 0) which requires L1 to input user information to prepare for the next onboarding steps.
What is SmartSheet?
The storage (and letter) where all of the op atom media for TOPS is stored.
What is the MAZW1_TOPS_MEDIA(X) drive?
The type of users only have access to view links that are shared with them. They are unable to see anything else within the project.
What is a Frame.io Reviewer?
This is where all of the AVID West media gets archived.
What is the MAZDBWPW2AAE001 (001) archive?
Information such as SOPs, Common Issues and much more is stored in this location for VPOST L1 Support use.
What is Sharepoint?
This controls the user's permissions within a VDI, and can also control which VDI they see when logging into PCoIP or a Zero client.
What is an AD Group?
The storage (and letter) where all of the ARTW project files are stored. Also contains incoming and outbound material.
MAZW1Q_ARTW_UM(A)
Found on the main left hand panel and contains various teams and projects. To access, users must granted permission.
What is a Frame.io Group?
Projects files and media files are deleted from interplay during this process to keep the storage utilization down and the database in working order.
What is monthly AVID media management?
This site is used to release users from their VDIs, reboot the VDIs and can run reports on user logins.
What is Leostream?
Access to this type of group allows you to login to sites that require SSO's.
What is a TFAYD group?
This is the location where all application data and user information is stored. Every user that uses a VDI in VPOST had one.
What is the C drive?
This feature of Frame.io allows content to be distributed safely and follows the guidelines of NBCU Cyber. It prevents users from downloading high res versions of sensitive content and also applies an invisible watermark on the asset.
What is a Forensic Watermark?
The process of changing the restore and archive write locations on the database.
What is the Monthly Interplay Destination Path Change?
This site can only be opened within a VDI session and allows VPOST L1 to see the current processing jobs. The jobs are usually transcoding. Commonly viewed jobs are from Tag and Bag.
What is Vantage?
(normally) A 4 letter acronym that is assigned to a group of users. The name lets L1 know who they are and what their functions are.
What is a Business Unit?
This is a shared storage between all users of the same business unit. Items that are placed here can be seen by all other members. It is mainly utilized for quick file sharing/access.
What is the E drive?
This serves a similar purpose to a Distribution List (DL) as it alerts all users on this list for when content is uploaded.
What is a Frame.io user Group?
This interplay option allows you to see all of the details regarding a file's location on all databases.
What is Tracking Details?
Records can be scheduled specifically for AH01 and ENSL using this tool.
What is Capture Scheduler?
This function must be performed after an interplay sync for the user to gain access to Nexis storage. Does not require DUO alias request to be complete.
