Explain the Nature v. Nurture debate. List characteristics that fall on either side of this debate ( 3 nature and 3 nurture). Are their traits that can fit into both of these categories ? List a few of these crossover traits and explain your reasoning.

Nature v. Nurture is a way to sort traits that people have in an organized way. Nature describes traits that are purely as a result of genetics. Nurture describes learned traits that are picked up from one's surroundings. Some examples of nature traits would be hair color, skin color, and height. Some examples of nurture traits would be preferences in media, political standings, and personality. A trait that can fit in both categories is weight. Many people are more prone to becoming overweight than others because of their genes, but diet is also very important in one's weight, so it fits in both categories.

In 6-8 sentences, list and describe 3 negative impacts of social media. Be sure to list the problem and then describe the affect this problem is having on teenagers worldwide.

The first problem that social media presents is that it keeps kids away from their families and friends and on their phones. Kids are getting addicted to their phones and not spending any time with other people. The second problem that social media has is that it tends to put people in echo chambers. This causes those who are in these echo chambers to become intolerant to other opinions. The last problem that social media brings forward is the depression it causes in younger, impressionable children. This causes suicide rates to skyrocket worldwide.
