WHO is a global health agency that is responsible for coordinating and organizing international health efforts. They also are in charge of setting health standards and providing strong leadership for global health issues.

Obesity is a worldwide growing issue that most people overlook. Obesity can lead to several chronic diseases such as diabetes, heart diseases, and cancer. Obesity can be obtained due to lack of exercise, poor nutrition, and environmental factors.

What is a Epidemiologist? 

Epidemiologist primarily study patterns, the causes, and the effects that are involved within diseases throughout a population. They do this to identify the risk factors, and to track outbreaks worldwide. They use the information they obtain to inform the public and create health policies.

There currently are several national public health data sources some consist of National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) also Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). These foundations have several public health data involved throughout them.

Some core public health values consist of social justice, equity, prevention, collaboration, and many others. These all provide strong efforts to improve health outcomes as a whole.

The CDC is a U.S. federal agency that primarily focuses on protecting public health by controlling and preventing several diseases. They are also responsible for preventing injuries and disabilities and providing much research for overall disease control

Mental Health Disorders, are very common in all age ranges. These can include depression, anxiety, and substance abuse. Mental Health affects millions globally lowering the mental being of those affected lives.

A public health educator primary duty is to design and implement several programs to promote health awareness worldwide. They also aim to prevent diseases and encourage positive health lifestyles. They do this through community outreach and educational campaigns.

What is a current public health campaign? 

A current consisting public health campaign is the "Tobacco-Free Kids" initiative. This aims to reduce the use of tobacco among children. They do this by providing education and advocating policies. They inform the children the long-term health consequences that come with using tobacco while you are an adolescent.

The three primary core public health functions consist of assessment, policy development, and assurance. These all involve monitoring health polices and creating new ones, watching over health status, and ensuring that health access and health service is available to all parts of a community.

The FDA is a U.S based federal agency that is responsible for regulating food, medical devices, vaccines, and several other health related products. They to do this to ensure the overall safety and efficiency for public use of these products.

An Environmental health specialist primary assess environmental factors and manages them. These factors can consist of thing such as air quality and water quality. They do this to protect the public health and to prevent overall environmental hazards.

A current and on going health policy is the Affordable Care Act (ACA). This policy is prevalent in the United States, in which they aim to spread the access to health insurance. They also aim to reduce healthcare costs and improve health care quality. This is primarily directed to those who come from a low-income population.

Public health primarily focuses on preventing diseases and promoting positive health at a population level, while medical care primarily focuses on treating individual patients with specific given health conditions.

APHA is a very renown professional organization based in the United States that helps advocate for health policies. They also help educate the public on worldwide health issues.

Health Disparities are things such as ones access to health care, low income populations, minorities, and preventive services. These are all outlying and ongoing health issues to this day. I personally feel as if some of these are overlooked.

What is a Health Policy Analyst? 

A Health Policy Analyst helps research polices related to public health. They also analyze the polices that they research.  They help advice movement agencies and organizations. They also aim to advise lawmakers on strategies to improve the overall betterment of health systems.

Yes, Public Health is the current leading cause for the increase of life expectancy. Through improvement in nutrition and disease control, medical care has currently lead to an overall increase in life expectancy.

A current public health initiative is the overall global effort to battle COVID-19 through several different methods such as vaccinations, health education, and preventive measures.

The UNICEF is works as a whole to protect children rights all over the world. They do this by providing healthcare to those who don't have access to it. They educate several people with the overall effort to to improve the well-being of children in need.

Environmental health include factors such as air pollution, water pollution, and climate change. These factors can put a whole population at a health risk. I also feel that most environmental factors are overlooked as a whole.

What is a Biostatistician? 

A Biostatistician applies several statistical methods to help analyze health data, doing this they provide insights into several common trends. They also aid the effectiveness of health interventions, along with aiding health outcomes to guide decision-making and policy making.

If you have a feeling of helping people, like me, I strongly suggest taking a public health class. It will open your mind up to several ways you can help people. You will learn several things that are currently going on to improve the betterment of a community as whole. I 100% suggest giving this class a shot. There was never dull day receiving all of this information.
