Before you start the web connector integration, what do you need to do?

Be signed in as Admin, in single user mode. Make sure Full Payroll is selected in preferences. Make sure week start date matches in QBDT and Time. Make sure that Use time data to create paychecks is checked in the Company-wide preferences AND for each active employee.  Make sure all employees are set up with at least one payroll item, since time can't transfer if at least one payroll item isn't mapped.  Be on the computer you'll use to sync QuickBooks Time and QuickBooks Desktop, since the sync can only be performed in one location.  Make sure that all users who need to have time exported to QuickBooks are added in QuickBooks as either an employee or a vendor (including admins, if necessary).

Feature add-ons>manage add-ons. In the list find QBDT Integration and install.  Select options in step 1.    In step 2: set up web connector window, select Advanced/Manual Setup, select the blue web_connector link and open downloaded file, click ok on security window, in next security window, select Yes, when file is open then continue, then Done. In the QB Time set up web connector window, get the 4 digit password and enter in web connector window, save password, then select update selected.  Then sync will happen.
