1. Gather information about when was the last time someone spoke to student and if there are any concerns for well being.
2. Contact resident by knocking on door
3. If no answer, call via duty phone/front desk
4. If the student still is not found, the RA should contact the RD on Duty.
Until this date returning students can cancel their Residence Hall Housing & Dining Agreement for 2026-2027 with no cancellation fee
By April 1: No Late Cancellation Fee

What is the rule regarding names listed in the involved parties section and the narrative/details section?
If a name is listed in the involved parties, it must also be included in the narrative/details, and vice versa.
RAs must call UMPD if vandalism involves the following:
1. Destruction and/or removal of an exit sign
2. Graphics or language that would be considered a hate-bias incident. If this is the case, refer to the hate-bias incident section of RA manual.
3. Damage and/or removal to ceiling tiles, bathrooms (removal of soap dispensers, paper towel dispensers, etc)
