Located at front of body, used as cooling agent. Can be infected with mites or canker. Must be certain length in some breeds.
EARS
Found on side of head, in some breeds it must have spots. Butterflies must cover area. Sometimes called "chubby"
CHEEKS
One area you can detect sickness. Twitches, some feel the need to "boop".
NOSE
Must contain all 28. Malocclusion or Buck is a problem in this location.
MOUTH
Moon spots and a disqualification, and in some breeds must be a certain color.
EYES
Thought of as "bushy and fluffy". must be straight. Could be considered the end of the spine. Not good if called "wry" or "corkscrew"
TAIL
TOES
Extra skin where fur is pulled from to make nest.
DEWLAP
The front part of the body, where shoulder and belly are located.
FOREQUARTER
In some breeds, a "deep" one is required. In breeds with multiple colors, this is sometimes white. Pneumonia settles in organs found here.
CHEST
Located at the bottom of rabbit. These sometimes get "sore". Can be very large or small depending on breed, carries the weight of the rabbit.
HOCKS
Found along top of body. Important part in commercial meat rabbits.
LOIN
Holds 5 on each of front and 4 on each of back. Considered "lucky" if have one, but not lucky for rabbit.
FOOT
Well rounded, not tucked or pinched. This helps form the "basketball" shape.
RUMP
LEG
Found in hindquarter of rabbit. Attaches leg to body.
HIP
Must be free of abscesses and scars. This area can become bloated.
BELLY
Want this to be as wide as they are deep in some breeds. In the semi-arched breeds, these are lower than the hips.
SHOULDER
This area an become twisted or "wry". Dewlap is located here.
NECK
Protects organs in chest.
RIBS
Located on side of rabbit. Between rib and hip and above belly.
FLANK
This is the back part of the rabbit body that includes the tail, hock, and loin.
