Lyft and Uber work by setting up an account with both Lyft and Uber and you have to set up your Bank card.
You have to download the app to get an Uber and a Lyft.
How to apply for work
The first step is to get an application for the company then fill it out and then return the application to the company the same day.
Wait until you get a call or email for an interview.
Wear a Collared Shirt and Long Pants to an interview.
Why is it important to budget your money?
So you don't go broke and you keep track of your finances.
So you create a plan to help you with your budget.
What should a plan look like during a storm?
Make sure that in case of a Storm, you have plenty of Food and Water. Do not try to outrun a Storm.

What are some safety tips for Uber and Lyft?
Check the License Plate.
Make sure it's the correct Lyft or Uber.
Make sure it's your Lyft or Uber and ask the driver if it is for you.
What should you do to work for a company?
You should wear Interview Clothes and have your resume printed out.
You should arrive to your interview Ten to Fifteen Minutes early.
How can you budget your money?
Checking your bank account every week.
Pulling out cash.
Check if you are in the red for your money.
Download the app from your bank and make sure it's you purchase your items and pulling out cash.
What should you do in case your plan does not work?
Have another plan. Pack for a couple days until the storm is done and come back to your house after the storm.
Plan B will be stay in a Hotel or a family house until you're safe and sound and the storm is over.
What is an example of a Disability?
Examples of a Disability are:
Physical Disability
Developmental Disability or
Intellectual Disability
Psychological Disability.
What should you do when you get into a Lyft?
To look at the License Plate.
Confirm with the driver that it's your Lyft.
Then if it's your Lyft get in.
Make sure the Lyft driver drops you off at the right place your scheduled to be at.
You should make sure to have proper hygiene.
Make sure that your clothes are free of wrinkles.
Iron your interview clothes the day before.
You shouldn't wear Flip Flops or Open-Toed Shoes to an Interview.
You have to wear closed-toe shoes to an interview.
How does budget work?
Make sure you have a plan with you and the bank to set up your account for both savings and checking account.
Set up a weekly budget amount.
Keep your receipts so you can check how much you spend.
What should you not do outside during a storm?
Don't go outside during a storm because that will hurt you.
Stay away from electronics.
Stay away from the storm.
To be a intern, you first have to do the training?
After the training, we came up with topics to put on our Powerpoint Presentations.

While we worked at RICV, we learned about Transportation Safety and how to take the bus?
Some of the things we were taught about Transportation Safety: You can take the city bus to RICV.
To get to RICV, there are two buses you have to take.
Lyft and Uber
You make a purchase to get to your destination and then from your destination back to your home or where your coming from.
What should you do when you arrive at work?
Arrive at work Ten Minutes early so you can have time to prepare yourself, relax before your shift and clock-in to start your shift.
