What about direct deposits for my paychecks?
We'll initially transfer your direct deposit over. But we'll be giving you a new account number and routing number in your member packet, and you'll need to give those to your employer by August 1.
Can we apply for loans through the MOBILE app?
Can only be done through online banking

-Use of the account that indicates a pattern inconsistent with the history or pattern of activity usually associate with the member
-Info provided is inconsistent with info on file
-The account is being used after being inactive for a long time

We'll transfer your loan accounts automatically. We'll send you any changes in terms or more information about your specific loans by mail over the next two months.
How do you redeem rewards on the mobile app?

A rogue interactive voice response (IVR) system is used to recreate a legitimate sounding copy of an institutions IVR system. The victim is prompted (typically via a phising email) to call in to the "bank" via a number provided in order to verify info. More advanced systems transfer the victim to a fraudster posing as a customer service agent. This technique can also be used with text messaging.

What if the Business owner would like to close the business account?
The Account owner can close a business account by visiting a branch or by sending the cancellation in writing.
Do almost everything you can do at one of our branches, deposit checks, transfer funds, and make card, loan, and bill payments, among many other things- all without going near a branch or an ATM
When will I receive my new member number and account number?
We will mail these to you the week of May 18 in the VACU member packet.
Can you add external accounts through mobile app and if so how?
Not through the MOBILE app but you can through online banking under transfer/external accounts.
Fraudulently obtaining private info though what appears to be legitimate correspondence from a business used by the victim. This person sends an email that appears to be from a legitimate business requesting "verification" of info and warning of dire consequence if not provided

When does a Signer need to go into the Branch?
The signer will need to go into the branch if they are being added as a new signer. The Account Owner has the authority to delete a signer without the signer being present.

What is the biggest change to CFCU members?
Credit Cards
-CFCU cards are a fixed low rate rewards card
-The majority of these cards will transition to our variable rate Essential card
-Members must redeem their rewards by 5/25/20 or lose them.
-To help with this transition, these credit cards will receive an introductory rate of 2.49% for all purchases and balance transfers good through 12/31/20.

What if I have a Business Member that would like to open a Business Loan?
If a Business Member calls and would like to open an account, send them the Business Loan Application, Personal Financial Statement and Business Debt Schedule located on vacu.org under Forms and Applications. Then send a referral to the Branch via M360 and indicate that you have sent the Member the applications to complete.
