What does Contrast mean?
Contrast means saying how two things are different. If I am contrasting my cat and dog I would say that my cat is good at climbing trees but in contrast my dog is good at swimming. My cat has white fur which contrast my dog who has black fur.
CONtrast, Con means against. "CONTEST", "Contemplate"
What does Compare mean?
comparing two things means telling how they are alike. For example if I am comparing my cat and my dog I could say they both are furry, they both have 4 legs, they both have spots.
