Why is it so important to read facial expressions?
It can be important to our survival.
We know what to do by reading people's faces.
During conversation if you do not read the facial expressions you are not getting the whole story.
If eye brows are sloped inwardand being pulled down shows what?
It shows anger, frustration, fear, or intense concentration.
A nose appearing red or swollen shows:
person is lying or may have a bad cold.
Glancing at something shows:
Suggest a desire for that thing, or desire to talk to that person.
A Smile can be:
Genuine - will have wrinkles around eyes[called crows feet]
False- a forced smile shows the teeth and false happiness or sarcasm.

Boredom, disinterest, or lying.

Person is preparing for a fight, or is angry, or showing displeasure
A pupil that shrinks shows:
Due to a bright light, or something offensive or negative.

Insecurity or discomfort showed by a sideways glance.
An open mouth shows:
Fear but if jaw is dropped it shows surprise.

They are thinking heavy on something, are distressed, or lying if touching face at the same time.

Not fully present, uncomfortable, distractedin some way or is trying to hide thier real feelings.
A mouth raised on one side shows:
Hate or contempt.
