What is a course syllabus?
An outline of your coursework for the semester created by your professor.
It outlines assignments, projects, tests, midterms, and finals.
If you're taking 2 college courses, how many hours a week are you in class?
5 hours per week (This is shorter than your current school day)
(Each course meets 2x per week for 1 hour and 15 minutes each = 2.5 hours per course)

For every course you take, expect to spend 3-6 hours outside of class studying and completing course work.
Professors expect you to come to class having read the materials that will be discussed that day.
THINK ABOUT THIS:
2 courses/week = 5 hours IN Class + 6 hours minimum OUTSIDE of class.
Total time per week = minimum 11 hours per week COLLEGE TIME.
(Could be as many as 17 hours.)
