Drop: Kneel on the floor, away from windows

Cover: Elbows should cover the ears while hands cover the back of the neck; head should be pointed away from any glass

Hold: Remain in this position until shaking has stopped or the all clear is issued

What should you do if you are outside and an earthquake occurs?

Move away from buildings, playground structures, and any wires or lights. Practice "drop, cover, and hold" until shaking stops. Once shaking has stopped, move to primary evacuation location.

When exiting the classroom during an evacuation, do you do a name to face or headcount?

Perform a headcount when exiting and a name to face upon arrival at the primary evacuation site. If any child is missing, immediately notify center admin.
