3. Just as the lamb’s blood saved the Israelites, Jesus’ blood saves believers from sin and death. These door posts (likely made of wood) dripped with the blood of lamb in Exodus but years later Jesus' blood (the true lamb) dripped down the cross (also made of wood) to save us from sin and death for all time.
