To join the assigned team, unless your staff tell say their is an unsafe reason on why you can't be on that team.

False, Sometimes we will do 2 activities but we do not always switch to another activity. The set activity when you come to group is done to help you reach the goals set by rec staff. It is up to the staff running your group if it is appropriate to switch the activity.
