I love getting to help raise money to grant a wish! Gives me purpose! etc.

Formal, MAW event, sisterhood events, date party, tailgates, mixers, etc.
What is your favorite volunteer experience and why?
Working at the food pantry at Austin Peay because I felt like I was making a difference on campus.

Do you have to live on campus to be in a sorority? (Give me more than a yes/no)
No, we have a mix of girls who live on campus in dorms and girls who commute up to an hour to campus.
Does your sorority have a house?
All of the sororities on campus have a townhouse. We do not live in our townhouse, but we can hangout and study there.
What region does the Sigma Kappa chapter of Chi Omega raise money for?
Middle Tennessee
What are two intramural sports we participate in?
Volleyball, flag football, tennis, basketball, pickle ball, etc.
Why is community service important to you/your sorority?
We're able to help others in our community. It connects us to our community. It makes me feel grateful for everything I have. It gives our chapter purpose.

Will I get dropped if I'm a sophomore/upperclassman?
Nope! We take all years in hopes that they will contribute during their time in Chi Omega!

Pie a Chi, Bake a Wish, Venmo Day, etc.
What are three sisterhood events we have had?
Bouquet making at Liberty Park, Paint and Pot, Tag a Sister, Painting Tote Bags, Build a Buddy, Cycling Class, etc.
What are two examples of community service our chapter has done?
Trash pick up, reading to children, donating supplies for those in need after the tornadoes, making cards for MAW kids or veterans
How do you connect with Chi Omega's 6 purposes?
I love our scholarship and hold myself accountable in my academics, etc.
Do I need to have a certain GPA to get into Chi Omega? (Double points if you know the Greek GPA requirement)
Not specifically for Chi Omega! The GPA requirement to rush all of Greek life is 2.5. *Do NOT tell the PNM that we will not take them if their GPA is low.
What are 3 big Make a Wish events our chapter has hosted?
Dodge for a dream, corn hole tournament, Chi Olympics, etc.
How would you explain what Cardinal Cabinet/leadership positions is to a PNM? (Keep it short and include 2 positions!)
Cardinal Cabinet is comprised of all of the positions that are responsible for all of our programming. This team is headed by our Director of Programming and includes Director of Sisterhood, Director of Philanthropy, Homecoming Chair, Intramural Chair, etc.

Chi Omega isn't associated with any fraternity parties, but every year we are partnered with fraternities for homecoming and mixers.

No, not everything is mandatory. Weekly chapter meetings and philanthropy events are the main mandatory events.
