nametags must be worn at all times. if you leave the recruitment room to go to the bathroom, you must wear it. if you put on a sweatshirt, you must put the nametag over it.

No, it is NEVER okay to touch a PNM. we will get fined to the gods. this is considered bid promising. if you touch them, let me know ASAP so we can make sure we don't get fined.

am I allowed to mention rho gams?
no, rho gams' orgs are a secret so PNMs can speak to them openly without fear that it will affect their chances at an org. if you have a fun memory with a rho gam, just replace their name. nobody will know the difference
can i talk to PNM outside of recruitment?
once the period of strict silence has started, you are unable to contact or interact with PNMs. If they contact you through social media, let the recruitment team know and we will give you a drafted message to send back.

because we are in wonk city, when people talk about their majors or their internships it will delve into politics a little bit. DO NOT indicate your political affiliation / make it seem like there is an official affiliation of the chapter. use your judgement and steer the convo somewhere else if you are uncomfortable.

Who is on MSB and what does MSB stand for?
MSB = Membership Selection Board. This consists of VPR, Pres, Recruitment Data Charwoman, and advisors. the incoming VPR is there as a silent listener.

if it sticks out, yes. "i love your necklace, does the charm mean something?" is a great way to start a conversation. you should NOT say, "i love your necklace, where is it from?" steer clear of questions about price or brands.
