YES! PVC and ABS pipes are definitely recyclable, but in many cases they can just be reused instead!
Pizza Boxes
Nope! They're covered in grease and oil, and if recycled can actually ruin a whole recycling batch! The city of Portland does accept them as "food scrap" recycling, though.
Old TVs
Yes! Many tvs contain toxic materials that NEED to be recycled and are not allowed to be put in a landfill.
Car Glass
Nope! Car glass is called "shatter proof," and breaks in a very different way to normal glass. If recycled, it won't melt and will get stuck in recycling machines.
