Green - it is important that students engage in the activities planned because there is always a purpose to the activities
Talking back to your parents
Yellow - it is not nice to talk back to anyone, but you can calmly assert yourself if you disagree with something
Yellow - it is not polite to other movie watchers if you talk or go on your phone during a movie
Making bracelets in class while the teacher is teaching
Yellow - It is expected that students give their teachers attention during class, unless the teacher gives the students a break
Telling someone you do not like the outfit they are wearing
Red - It is not nice to tell someone you do not like what they are wearing. It is better to not comment on someones appearance
Throwing your clothes on the floor
Saying thank you to people working at the store
Green - it is kind to say thank you when someone helps you at the store
Saying excuse me or sorry if you bump into someone in the hallway
Green - It is polite to say excuse me or sorry if you accidentally bump into someone in the hallway so show that you did not mean to bump them.
Green - Laughing and talking with the students around you during lunch
It is fun and it is encouraged that students talk to the people sitting around them at lunch
Offering to help clean up
Green - it is very appreciated when you offer to help clean up and shows love and kindness to your family
Red - it is impolite to speak loudly in a restaurant. It is also very rude to leave a big mess in public
Rolling your eyes at a teacher or para
Yellow - It is not polite to roll your eyes at a teacher because it shows disrespect
Asking to go to the cafeteria multiple times
Yellow - Students are welcome to go to the cafeteria once per session and are expected to go at the same time the other students are going
Staying up late on facetime with friends
Yellow - sleep is important for students in order to be able to function at school.
Helping someone if they dropped something
Green/yellow - it is usually nice to help someone if they dropped something, but be aware if you think this person is acting strange.
Gossiping about another student and saying mean things about them
Red - It is not nice to gossip about another student because it makes the student feel bad and is not friendly.
Joining in with someone who is not participating and being rude
Red - instead of joining someone who is being rude and not participating, a student should either try and encourage them to join the group or it is okay to let them be alone.
Asking for help
Green - it is good to ask for help!
Petting someones dog
Green/Yellow - it is important to ask the owner to pet their dog before you pet the dog to make sure the animal is friendly. Petting dogs who are scared or mean can be dangerous
