How did the fur trade affect the First Nations?
Guns made hunting easier but made them rely on trading posts for bullets. As they attempted to gather more furs they had less time to gather food for their families and became more dependant on the posts for food.

What was the Continuous Passage Act?
To stop people from immigrating from India, Canada passed a law that stated that anyone who wanted to immigrate to Canada could only do so if they came directly by ship, without stopping at any other port. Since no ships sailed directly sailed from India to Canada, this law made sure that no more Indian people could come to Canada.
