The event has been submitted to the Wisconsin Registry for review. Standard review time for an event submitted to us is 1-5 business days.

Attendees receive a worksheet or self-study workbook to complete and send back to the Trainer

What is Correspondence Training Type?

Educational content of a training.  This is submitted to the PDASystem as the first step in training approval.

What is a Course?

An individual with a Registry Career Level 2 or above who has 6 months or experience in an approved program and a background check. No other trainer requirements need to be met.

The event has been reviewed by a Registry Professional Development Specialist and the Trainer and scheduled time match the course requirements

Training is online; however, attendees must attend/log on at specific scheduled date(s) and time(s). Real time support is provided

What is Web Based with Scheduled Sessions Training?

An organization or program that uses the PDASystem to facilitate training to Early Childhood Care and Afterschool Education Professionals in the field.

What is a Training Sponsor Organization (TSO)?

An identification number assigned to a specific date of a training course.

An individual with a specific Registry Career Level, training experience, background check and the adult education courses required to be approved as a Tier 1, Tier 2 or Tier 3 trainer

What is a Tier Trainer?

The event does not meet DCF guidelines to be approved for continuing education or the Trainer is not approved to offer the training.

Training time is split between web based/online and another delivery method, such as in-person.

What is Blended - Web Based Training?

Content that is 1-5 hours or more in duration, has a higher level of rigor both in the content and the Trainer's expertise, and attendance records are entered directly into the Registry system.

A profile that contains data regarding an organization or program, including contact information for the organization or program, employees, and training information.

Training is offered entirely online and attendees complete on their own time, within a specific date range. The attendees may reach out to the Trainer or Training Sponsor Agency for assistance, but it is not real time support.

What is Web Based, Self-Paced?
