The Sign of the Cross reminds us of Jesus' Crucifixion and unites us to the Trinity (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit). It is a prayer in and of itself.

The Mass is the highest form of worship where we enter into Jesus' eternal sacrifice, and get to receive Jesus in the Eucharist. It is important because it is where we give the most praise to God, receive so many graces, and get to be in union with God.
