Chapter 21: Black Death is the bubonic plague that reaped through Eurasia during the 14th century and the term Renaissance is french for "rebirth" and was used during the time of revival of arts in Europe. Chapter 22: Exploration is a term to describe the time in European history when sailors were trying to find easier trade routes to Asia and spread Christianity through out the world. Circumnavigation is a term used to describe a way to travel around the entire circumference of the Earth.
