Art - early art portrays religion, but throughout the renaissance, the religious aspects decrease and paintings become strictly about people in the "here and now." Religion - Even religion became more about humans and inward thinking and less about external practices. Humans were encouraged to consider religion on their own instead of being dictated entirely by the church.
