He said that he would be there early the following day.

The teacher asked who owned that/the dictionary.
THey asked me if I wanted to see the cathedral.
"Do you want to see the cathedral?", they asked me.

He said to us (he told us) that he would like to thank us all for the present that we had sent him.
"Are you going to let me in or aren't you?" she said.
She asked whether I was going to let her in or not.
I told them I had finished my school project the day before and had nothing to do at that moment.
"I finished my school project yesterday and now I have nothing to do", I said.

The head of studies asked my classmates who had broken the computer and Álvaro, the delegate, answered that they didn't have a clue and that it was like that when they had arrived early that morning.
"Who has broken the computer?" asked the head of studies to my classmates.
"We don't have a clue", answered Álvaro, the delegate. "It was like that when we arrived early this morning"
She said : "I'll come with you as soon as I am ready, and right now I am not ready"
She said that she would come with us/him/them... as soon as she was ready and that she still wasn't ready/ that she wasn't ready yet.
"I've just received my son's school report. Would you like to see it?" she said."No", I answered.
She said that she had just received her son's school report and asked me if I would like to see it/ wanted to see it.
I answered/ replied that I wouldn't/ didn't.
He wanted to know his Math exam result but the teacher apologized and said that she had not finished checking them yet.
"Can I know my Math exam result?" he asked.
"I'm sorry but I haven't finished checking them yet", answered the teacher.
