How is it determined what a bird or reptile will eat?
Give two examples for birds and two for reptiles.
The beak and feet of birds determines what is eaten.
Long beaks and small perching feet -birds suck nectar from flowers. Hooked beaks and large curved clawed feet -birds tear at flesh and carry prey.
Turtles are slow and usually eat vegetation or worms and mollusks. Snakes can poison prey with fangs or constrict prey with muscles to eat mammals usually.
